Wellness Trends: 5 Yah’s and 5 Nah’s

Wellness trends are everywhere these days — from flashy gadgets to new supplements, it can be hard to know what’s actually worth your time and what’s better left on the shelf. I’ve been experimenting, testing, and observing what truly delivers results (and what doesn’t). Here’s my take on what’s “Yah” and what’s “Nah” in the wellness world right now.

5 Things That Are “Nah”

1. Ninja Creami
I wanted to love it, but the texture just didn’t do it for me. Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but it didn’t feel worth the hype.

2. Intermittent Fasting for Women (in the morning)
Extended fasting has its place, but skipping breakfast or early-morning fasting doesn't work for me. Women’s bodies often respond differently to fasting — especially in the morning.

3. Hair Supplements
Supplements for hair growth? Be careful. They can do more harm than good, particularly for liver health. Natural nutrition and good habits often do more than a handful of pills.

4. CBD
I tried it all — oils, gummies, topicals — and honestly, it never worked for me. CBD might help some, but it’s not the universal solution it’s often marketed as.

5. Colostrum, Iron, and Vitamin D (over-supplementing)
These nutrients are critical for certain people at certain times, but I see a lot of over-supplementation. Test, know your needs, and supplement strategically — don’t assume everyone needs them daily.

5 Things That Are “Yah”

1. Meal Timing
The right timing of meals can have a huge impact on blood sugar balance and metabolic health. I focus on spacing meals to support energy, mood, and performance.

2. Hydrogen Water
This is a simple tweak that really helps with recovery after workouts. I love it for muscle repair and overall hydration support.

3. Weighted Vests
I use mine almost every day — they’re incredible for building strength, increasing bone density, and adding a subtle challenge to workouts.

4. Red Light Therapy
I use it multiple times a day, and it’s amazing for skin, anti-aging, and muscle recovery. A small time investment, huge returns.

5. BodyBio PC
Cellular repair matters for everyone. This supplement supports membranes and overall cellular function — I think every single person can benefit.

6. BONUS: Lymphatic Plate
Twice a day keeps my lymphatic system moving, supporting detox and overall immune function. Simple, easy, and effective.

Not every wellness trend lives up to the hype, and what works for one person may not work for another. My advice: experiment intelligently, track what makes a difference for you, and skip the stuff that doesn’t add value.

Wellness should feel empowering, not overwhelming — the “Yah’s” are tools that support your body, energy, and longevity, while the “Nah’s” are trends you can politely ignore.
