Time is such a crazy thing in December. It’s not enough; it goes too fast. I’ve even had the nostalgia of how quickly time has passed from toy buying and building to wishlists with vanities and room decor. It’s bittersweet, but I focus on gratitude and the sweet. This time of year, I get super emotionally charged with love: for my family, for my life. I also tend to overextend myself in terms of how I can help others. I always say November Cara is signing us up for special projects and events, and Christmas generosity differs from December Cara (primarily because of time). It all comes down to how we can love and how much love we have to give.
The truth is, I feel the best I’ve ever felt emotionally in my nervous system, immune system, etc. Therefore, I have a lot of love to give. We may have a lot of love in our hearts, but if we don’t feel good, if our bodies are burdened or burnt out, the love we give becomes one more chore. If we have energy and love, our time seems to be spent more efficiently and effectively.

As the Christmas season surges with busyness these next few days, I want to leave you with a few suggestions for improving your body's rhythm so you can see and feel the love in your heart.
Here’s an example of the full circle I’m about to share. Our primary focus for the membership this year was: There is first a stressor, that stress leads to a breakdown in the nervous system, that breakdown in the nervous system leads to a breakdown in the hormones, the breakdown in the hormones leads to a breakdown in the immune system.
I’ve definitely seen a breakdown in my own hormones from my last cycle to this cycle. If you know me personally, you know that sports haven’t let up for even one minute, even though it’s December, and we’ve still had out-of-town games every weekend so far this month. Add in all the fun I’m coaching a basketball team, my husband is coaching a basketball team. Our lives are at the height of their chaos. So it’s no surprise that yesterday, I woke up with slight nausea and a pretty intense headache. I did all the natural remedies to remediate these things, and they dulled them out. I had a few calls and the member call to get through, but there was no rest in my cards. Our girls had a half day and had plans, sports, etc. We had fun plans to do some cookie baking with friends. None of which I wanted to cancel!
So here’s the magical part! Our member call was about utilizing the nervous system to calm the body down and pinpoint weak areas or areas of stress. There is a massive silver lining here, too, which I’ll share in a second. We did a full body scan meditation, and I guided it. When I do this, I’m not following a script. I’m following my heart and feeling the energy of those I’m working with, so it’s very focused and intentional. It was super moving and calming for our live members on the call.
As we wrapped up the guided meditation, I could tell my headache and stomach ache had dulled even more. They were still there, though. Immediately after the call, Ashlee told me the call did not record, which is always a bummer when the system glitches. But in this case, I had 20 more minutes before my girls terrorized me for food and rides. 🙂 I could also see the silver linings of needing more time with the healing sound waves and doing more meditation.
I recorded a second 15-minute body scan medication so we could send this one out to our members who couldn’t make the call. I use 432 hz for these meditations, and guess what? By the end of it, I felt perfectly well! Zero signs of getting sick!! So here’s what I got caught up in and will always do, per human nature. I thought of my immune system and immediately did all the things to support my immune system, but did minimal to support my stressors and nervous system. The silver lining of these calls is that they supported my nervous system where the breakdown was originally.
I love leading my members and individual clients through these guided meditations because I know their power. The calmness they feel impacts their whole bodies, and their surrender allows them to change and create sustainable changes within their wiring.
So, my suggestion this season is to calm the whole body down and support the entire body. Don’t patchwork the support this season.
Daily meditation
Daily detox – sauna, bath, etc
Daily movement and even better if in nature
Follow CCN food philosophy
Deep breathing exercises throughout the day
Consistent sleep patterns
Do these things and notice the love in your heart expand this year. If it can happen for the Grinch, it can happen for you 🙂
Wishing you a most blessed Christmas and Happy Holidays!
