When I found the Simply Summertime cleanse on Instagram, I was hesitant to try another "diet" but I also knew that I had enough of the state I was in through unhealthy eating habits and weight gain over the past year. I went in to this with wanting to just lose weight, and even though I did accomplish that goal I feel that I came out of this 2 weeks with a much bigger appreciation for this lifestyle. This is not just about a number on the scale. I found myself again for the first time in a long time. I felt so much more energetic, had a much more positive outlook and daily interactions with family and friends, and even more so my kids! We made sitting down around the dinner table every night a priority, and that alone changed so much of our family dynamic in such a good way.
