A Real-Life Catch-Up on All Things CCN, Motherhood, and Maycember Mayhem
We need to take a moment and catch up. I can always count on March, April, and May to be crazy work months for me, but THEN 18 months ago my publishers said, let’s set the book publishing date to MAYCEMBER. I remember wanting to cry right then and there. Last May, I nearly didn’t survive having two of my kids promoting (from elementary to middle and then middle to high school) on top of all the workload. This year, who the heck knows? All I know is I value every moment of motherhood and CCN, so I’m going to make the most of each. Thankfully, no kids are promoting this year!
But I want to lay out what’s been going on around here at CCN in an ICYMI manner:
Last month, I wrapped up our first-ever Menopause/Perimenopause pod, and let me tell you, I was sad when it was over. We chatted weekly, and I provided them roadmaps and tools to find the best path to hormone health in this stage of life. I was prayerful that I was meant to lead a pod group. And it was so fulfilling to me. I got to see these women change so quickly, and oh my gosh, support each other. While we all have different levels of hard, one of my members was in the worst possible grief a mother could imagine, and the support this group gave will always inspire me.
Last week, I wrapped up my first-ever AIP pod. We’ve done several in the past, but have had other coaches assigned to run the pods. I loved this group, and while it’s hard to keep everyone super engaged at the same time every week, I know each person gave it their all for their stage of life and health. We saw some incredible results in just 8 weeks, when the reality is that we need the full 12 weeks for someone who is in an autoimmune flare-up to start seeing some results. I trust they will continue supporting their bodies as best as they know how! And most of them are current members anyway, so they know I’m never far if they need me.
Will I lead these pods again? Yes, we're looking into this, possibly this summer. You can get on the official waitlist HERE to be notified when we open registration.
This week, we wrapped up our third and final hormone masterclass. We did a separate class and packet on each stage of hormones:
Cycling: This is important if you are in this stage or have a daughter or loved one in this stage. PMS and other symptoms are often due to metabolic issues or inflammation, and we can fix this! Remember, just because it’s normal to you, doesn’t mean it’s normal. We talked about reducing symptoms and inflammation and advocating for yourself for testing!
Perimenopause: This was a complex class, if you ask me. During this stage, I see a lot of things rising to the surface that haven’t been dealt with and then escalating because of hormone transitions and less resilience to stress. The quick solution is to cover up the problem, but we walk you through how to let your body resolve the issues, advocate for yourself, conduct comprehensive testing, and more!
Menopause: This transition should be gentle and not as life-altering as it has been. We are walking women through the best way to metabolically reset during and after menopause, foods that support hormone production, advanced testing, and when the testing is needed.
Not surprisingly, our perimenopause group was the largest. This is a challenging time for many people and we’re so happy we can help provide support! We are also so delighted to be able to order labs for so many of our members, as I’m certified to do so through Evexia, as well as our new root cause practitioner, Taylor Muir. We are both here to support you when needed, but foundationally, we always want to be supporting with food, supplements, and drainage, which leads me to the next thing we’ve been working on…
Registration for our Spring Wellness Renewal Challenge is now open! Challenge materials head out soon, and I must tell you, this is the one you don’t want to miss. As we prepared the meal plan for you, my team had Spring food plus detox and drainage in mind. This is the challenge where we explain the body from a detoxification standpoint. This is the challenge where you learn techniques to support your mind and body with food and other exercises. We also have a special guest coming to the challenge to speak on metabolic pathways regarding detox.
Whether you need a full reset or want to stay the course, I’d love to have you join us for a full-body RENEWAL! Use code CCNMEMBER25 for a discount if you’d like to join us!
Lastly, our book launch event is NEXT MONTH!

All the while, I’m out of town most weekends until June with the girls sports and loving every minute of this chaotic life. Can you believe we’re already at the stage of thinking about college recruitment for sports? I can hardly wrap my mind around it, but thankfully, life seems to be flowing even with all the busyness! Yes, I’m supporting my stress therapeutically and along with key foundational support. Should I share what I take for foundations and stress? Tell me what you want to hear more of in the comments!
