The Holidays are coming. And we believe you should enjoy them. Does that mean you wait until January 1st to make healthy choices again? No! Give yourself these two weeks to get your mind and body right by fueling it with food that tastes good and is good for you! Help your body crave good for you choices even among all the delicious food that the Holidays have to offer.

We have a fantastic recipe from our upcoming Healthy Holidays Challenge we just had to share! Not only is this a healthy and filling snack when paired with some berries or non-starchy veggies on the side, it would make a perfect Holiday gift! Make a batch (or two) of these rosemary balsamic nuts and place them in a cute container to give as neighbor gifts or hostess treats!



Rosemary Balsamic Nuts

Makes approximately 2 cups, ½ cup per serving

2 cups almonds or other unsalted nut such as walnuts or pecans

2 teaspoons coconut oil, melted

1 Tablespoon pure maple syrup

1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar

½ teaspoon salt

2 drops hot sauce

½ teaspoon cumin

½ Tablespoon finely chopped fresh rosemary or ½ teaspoon dried rosemary

A few grinds of black pepper

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and stir well. Spread out on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Let cool completely before serving.
