Shape Up For Summer--2 week fat burner

Hey Everyone!!

It's almost technically summer, but here in southern California it has felt like summer for a LONG time. We decided to change up the purpose and look of our typical challenge packet.

The purpose was to burn fat from all trouble areas and the look was to get it done in two weeks! We had incredible success with a group of 150 people.

Here's what people have had to say:

"I just want to say, 'WOW'! This challenge has been awesome, I'm down almost 6 lbs and have broken back into the 130's. I feel stronger, I'm getting my hourglass back, and am more determined than ever to maintain this lifestyle. It's not always easy with life getting in the way, but it is definitely worth it. Week 1 I was 99%, and that's when I saw the biggest change. Week 2 I guess you could say I maintained because there were several curveballs thrown my way. I'm just glad the weight I lost on week 1 stayed off. Congratulations to everyone! It's great hearing so many positive outcomes. Let's keep it up! Thank you, Allison and Cara."

"So yesterday was the finale of our two weeks (hubby & I). Neither of us were 100% BUT both of us saw some amazing things come from participating: I personally lost a total of 13.5lbs, a clean pantry, clean fridge, healthier food choices, kids eating and snacking healthier, kids have more energy for their gymnastics (4hr workout, 3 days/wk) and a grasp of exactly where our weight gain problems lie. Thanks Cara & especially Allison who sat down with me to explain everything and texted when I needed to vent. I WILL be involved in future challenges!!"

"So I had gotten really strict with my eating since the beginning of May and had already lost some weight. I didn't expect to lose any more. I wanted to do the challenge to keep me on track with my clean eating.

BUT in the last 2 weeks I dropped 2 pounds (I'm at my lowest I've been), I lost 1/4 in from my chest, 1 in from my waist, 1/2 in from my hips, and 1/2 in from my thigh. I can see all the lines for my 6 pack. AND I have had crazy energy in the gym. I'd normally do 1 hour sessions and now I'm going 90 min with energy to spare! "

"You are so right. I have noticed more changes to my body than just a lower body fat.
1. I lost 1/2" in on both legs, 1'' on both arms, 1" on my hips , 2 inches off my waist and 3" off my chest!
2. I am down 10lbs. I weight in at 155. I have not been able to break out of this plateau I have been in for a while.
3. My energy level is sky high. I am not tired, groggy or in need of coffee to get my day going nor do I need the mid afternoon coffee run to Starbucks because I don't need it. My skin is clear and I sleep like a baby at night. I have been having trouble falling asleep and staying asleep at night, but not any more.
Thank you for this challenge. This is my second challenge with you and this is my favorite. I loved the smoothies and the lunch/dinner menu. I don't know why but this time it was easier for me to get rid of my sugar and fast food habit.
I have found my new lifestyle, not a new diet! "

" these last two weeks have definitely proven that I can control this issue on most days by avoiding a lot of different foods and drinking lots of water. I've also for many reasons felt I have a gluten intolerance and I've decided after this challenge I will be limiting gluten in my diet from now on. My workouts feel so different,.its amazing! I feel lighter and more fit. I've been holding steady at 132 since the 4th day of the challenge..I have a little ways to go to reach my goal, but wow what a way to get started!! Thank you for all you do, the recipes, the education and support!!!! I think this was the best Challenge yet!"
