Final Results from March Madness Challenge!!

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to share with you how are first ever challenge went. In one word--amazing!!

Who participated? In the first round, we had teachers, nurses, doctors, business women and men, college students, athletes, personal trainers, breast feeding moms, stay at home moms, and pregnant women, just to name a few of the different busy lifestyles of people who we had achieve fantastic results!!

Our age range this last month was from 18 years old to 70 years old! We had participants from 31 different states and 3 different countries!

We had people lose as much as 15 lbs, maybe even more. People have been excited to lose multiple pant and dress sizes and even saw someone say that lost 4 inches in their waist. Lots and lots of compliments were received about bodies changing. The general consensus was much more energy, easy to follow, and great information. They loved the food and never felt hungry, while still losing weight and inches! Everyone really liked the accountability of the check ins and sharing their experiences with one another.

"I have learned so much from the March Madness challenge! Especially how important it is to pair a protein with a carb. I have also learned about the nutritional benefits of eating REAL food! So many new healthy and yummy recipes have been added to my nightly routine too!"

"Well when I started this challenge I was honestly clueless, I knew I had the fitness end some what covered but as far as my food choices I was ALL wrong not that I didn't eat well I 1. Was not eating enough and 2. I was not pairing foods correctly so this was a huge eye opener for me!!! I have enjoyed tryn new things but I've also become aware of listening to my body and fueling it when it's time. over the last couple weeks I have also taught my husband what I've learned and it's clicking with him to:) although the scale has not budge a lot my body is starting to take shape and it's what I wanted more then pounds lost!!;) I do recommend if anyone is struggling like I was to take the challenge it will open your eyes like it did mine. "I have learned SO much from this challenge, but the biggest thing would be that I don't have to starve, or deprive myself to see results. I was at a plateau with my weight and couldn't get off the last of the weight no matter what I did. This past month I have lost 4 pounds and 2 1/2 inches off my tummy. (bye bye post-baby pooch!) It has been an incredible experience and I look forward to continuing it next month to maintain what I have accomplished so far."

"I've learned that you nee to eat every 3 to 4 hours to keep your body in fat burning mode and that healthy fats and complex carbs are good for you! I've never felt better while on a diet. I'm getting a lot of compliments even though I haven't lost a dramatic amount of weight! So I know that change is taking place evenly and all over my body. Also, I don't look gaunt and my hair isn't suffering from freaking out my body w a "diet"."

"I lost a total of 7 pounds so far and lost 11 inches total! The biggest difference is my waist which is my biggest trouble area since I had my twins! I'm thrilled at my results and I'm so motivated to continue!!!! I am full of energy and feel great."

"I have learned so much from Cara! I have learned how to eat the right portions of food and how to eat carbs, fat, and protein. I am now able to make my own meal plans based on the carbs, fat, and protein ratio. I have learned how to go out to a resteraunt and still eat healthy. I have learned how to cook and eat a wide variety of food now. I have gotten so much out of this challenge and working with her. My blood pressure has lowered, I feel better health wise, and I am becoming more confident :) I have lost half of my goal weight and I know now it is doable. I have a lot of energy, am never hungry, and love the food Im eating! I am so glad I have started this and I cant wait for the next challenge! Thanks for all the support!"
